We are thrilled to share some incredible news with our community: Tours By Her has been awarded the Mujer Emprende Prize as part of the 2K24 University Entrepreneurship Contest hosted by the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV)!
This award, promoted by the Ideas Institute at UPV, recognizes entrepreneurial projects led by students and alumni who are making a tangible positive social impact. This year, the spotlight shines on our founder, Teresa Soriano, for launching a unique initiative that promotes women’s empowerment through responsible travel. The award was received on February 20, during an inspiring event organized by UPV’s entrepreneurship center, IDEAS UPV.

A Project Centered on Women’s Leadership
Tours By Her was born from a clear vision: to transform the way we travel and connect with the world, by empowering both travelers and local women through authentic, conscious experiences.
What makes us different?
🌍 Multi-day journeys led by local women, offering travelers an intimate, female perspective on culture, community, and life.
🏙️ City tours for independent travelers who want to connect more deeply with a place through the voices and stories of the women who live there.
🎓 Educational programs for schools, especially for girls, designed to foster leadership, confidence, and cross-cultural understanding from a young age.

What’s Next for Tours By Her?
We’re just getting started. While Tours By Her was born in India, we are already exploring ways to expand to other destinations in the Global South. No matter the location, our mission remains the same: to offer meaningful travel experiences that leave lasting memories and a positive impact.
